Review of Journalism Illustrations
Working with the visuals team, I illustrated multiple graphics for feature stories in the Review of Journalism.
I use Procreate.

On-Camera Broadcast Reels
As part of a small current affairs team, I hosted the current affairs section and the weather segment.
I filmed my segments in Toronto Metropolitan University’s news studio.

FCPC Promos
I produced, filmed, and edited promo videos to help promote the Filipino-Canadian Pickleball Club’s new East division.
I used my Canon EOS R100 and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Video Report Packages
I reported on stories from the Toronto Metropolitan University Campus.
I wrote, filmed, edited and produced the video independently using an iPhone, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition.

SJL: Art 101
As a video podcast producer for SJL Creative Solutions, I record and edit the Art 101 podcast.
I coordinate with the host for filming times and locations, film episodes on my Sony ZV-1F camera with my Blue Yeti microphone, and edit episodes on Adobe Premiere Pro.

Academic Integrity Office Videos
As a communications and production assistant in the Digital Learning Team at the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at TMU, I helped produce, film, and edit videos for TMU’s Academic Integrity Office (AIO).
In a team of two, I helped film, produce, and edit a series of three videos about academic integrity at university.

Broadcast Writing
I reported on and wrote short broadcast voice-over entertainment stories for a broadcast simulation.

Toronto Nature Now
Toronto Nature Now is a weekly radio show from Met Radio 1280 AM in collaboration with the Toronto Field Naturalists. Episodes are 12-15 minute interviews with nature experts about their chosen topic.

The show coordinator connects me with guests and the guests provide me with questions for me to ask. I record and edit the interviews into episodes and write a description for the radio show.

I became the host of the show at episode 162.

Covid Side-Hustles Save Students From Inflation Feature
I created a multimedia feature story about 3 student small business owners who started their companies during the pandemic and how they were coping with Canada's high inflation in 2022.

International Students Find Home Through Food in Toronto Feature
I and a group of classmates reported on how international post-secondary students combat homesickness in Toronto.
It is published in Can Culture Magazine.

Animated Promos
In my role as an educational technology assistant at Toronto Metropolitan University, I worked with the Digital Publications team to design animated promotional material for clients around the school community.
I used Adobe After Effects.
